Inhaler / Mother Nature Father Earth

Kane's first single, "Inhaler", is based around a riff from "Mother Nature Father Earth" performed by an obscure 60s Californian garage-rock band the Music Machine, a group he discovered at a Liverpool record shop just before recording his album.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/video/2 ... aler-video

He has basically stolen the tune from Sean Bonniwell and the Music Machine. Have a listen to Mother Nature Father Earth. virtually note perfect!
Alanmac 1966

Sorry Guys but that tune has been pinched from The Bonniwell Music Machine: Mother Nature-Father Earth (68) Check the real thing.
AntiHiller

The original riff and song still kick ass. Nice of this Kane dude to ask permission for the riff, but the song he wrote around it pales in comparison to the BMM song. I'm still trying to figure out why the Music Machine and the Bonniwell MM aren't considered the top dogs of the garage rock world. I love garage rock, but the Music Machine is by FAR the best of the lot.
Jeff McElroy

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4c0x6ecpX4

Most recent exclusive releases:

Sean (Tom) - in 1959, I worked with a fellow named John Moore who had (as of now) vintage Ampex recording gear and good (for the time) Sony microhones up in his house in the Los Gatos hills. You were in a folk trio called The Noblemen, and recorded 11 songs that, as far as I know, were never released.
I have a first-generation dub of the LP master tape, complete with artifacts of the era (analog blips, tape hiss, hum). I would be pleased to send you a copy of it.
Larry Miller / Ampex Designer/Sound Engineer
---------
Larry - Of the many e-mail contacts I've received over the years, yours is perhaps the most hoped for; aside from the pleasure of re-aquaintance with a Willow Glen High classmate, the availability of my recordings with The Noblemen is a treasured blessing I had all but given up on. These songs are my first professional recordings; I am deeply grateful ..
With appreciation in perpetuity,
Sean Bonniwell

COLLECTOR'S 3 FOR 2 FOLK PACKAGE

SON OF AMERICAN EARTH takes its name from progressive folk/satire and solo-acoustic country/pop themes written over a span of 35 years to the present day.

The majority of songs in this collection are self-explanatory, a few require clarification.
Under satire, "Blame The Lips" has a tongue buried in its cheek; there are no bars or honky-tonks in Salt Lake City, a subtle clue for the love-starved fan of traditional country songs.

"Fireman Cowboy" is more subtle but no less startling; the ending bites the Hand that feeds the mouth of religious freedom.
"Who's Doin' It" speaks from the hippie perspective circa 1966; political history aside, the consumer-addicted voice of the common man is still unheeded.

Deeper thoughts mark the scars of "Country Boys"; the face of injustice plays no favorites. Inclusion of this solo acoustic song was deeply pondered, it is perhaps the pinnacle of the human condition as seen through the heart's soul.

"Ain't That Good" attempts to justify such scars, through the eyes of reincarnation.
"Gonna Rain" ascends to Truth with a wry smile; His return judges mankind's rejection of it, and Him.
"Easy Does Love" was written for -- and in honor of -- the marriage of Dave & Devon Kurcina, and is paternally dedicated to god-son, Aris.

'Son Of American Earth' is the second to last of the Book's Companion CD/albums. Being the seventh of seven, no collector's library of my body of work is complete without it ...

Grateful for the privilege of your interest, and for the faithful grace of our Lord,
sb

PRIVATE LIBRARY SERIES

*** The Private Library series has expanded and evolved over time, with some no longer available ('Songwriter's Memoir', 'Down & Doily') and others newly added; BMM @ Universal Amphitheatre (1989), The Noblemen, Son Of American Earth, Fuel For Thought, Fusion Reunion, Memorial Harvest, the Euro Tour CD, the 'Close' album (digitally re-mastered w/original Liner Notes), the Day Of The Wolves sound track, and the newly revised 'Guerilla Garage' (which now features home studio demos, and The Larksmen tracks).

The 'Close' album version of "Black Snow" is a fully orchestrated 'mood piece' designed to engage and engulf the listener's intimate sensibilities. The Bmm version (featured on 'Guerilla Garage') assaults those sensibilities with characteristic MM angst, and is perhaps the pinnacle expression of same by way of its unrestrained delivery.

With the exception of the Euro Tour CD (now a bona fide Collectible being in all likelihood the first and last of its kind), many of the tracks are featured on the BTG Anthology CD (only available with purchase of the book re Special Offer; the expanded Special Offer includes 5 CD albums, a Euro Tour sticker and signed MM photo; please see BOOK OFFERs for details).

The BTG Anthology CD,while featuring a few classic MM tracks (all of which have been newly re-mastered), is a compendium of 40 years of writing & recording.
The songs mirror the events and turning points chronicled in the book, adding specifically significant enlightenment to each corresponding chapter. The Star Witness CD album continues and closes the reading with that same, unique intention. Both companion CD albums represent my body of work as a songwriter, and the evolution of my personal journey Beyond The Garage.

All Private Library items are signed and pricing includes shipping. Please make Check or Money Order payable to:

UNCLE HELMET'S MUSIC

P.O.
LATEST BTG COMPANION ALBUMS

Sean (Tom) - in 1959, I worked with a fellow named John Moore who had (as of now) vintage Ampex recording gear and good (for the time) Sony microhones up in his house in the Los Gatos hills. You were in a folk trio called The Noblemen, and RECORED 11 SONGS THAT, as far as I know, WERE NEVER RELEASED.

$16.00 (Shipping Included) -- $29.00 (Abroad)

UNCLE HELMET'S MUSIC
P.O.
